If the tools like Recuva didn’t work, the issue might be with the file headers. You could try software that repairs corrupted files by reconstructing missing parts. Alternatively, exporting them as TIFFs and converting them back to JPEG might work, as you mentioned.
If you still have the original SD card, re-running recovery with advanced tools might extract cleaner files. Just be cautious not to overwrite the existing data.
