I recently bought a Revopoint Range 2 and im trying to draw the line between my skill and the device’s capability.
I am having trouble managing over and under exposure. My scans generally have holes due to over/under exposure, but i try not to rescan the same area again because that seems to create a rough patch.
I’m also having trouble scanning objects on a turntable. It might be due to the object size (smaller than optimal) but the scanner sees the table or floor in the background, and tries to assume that the turntable is stationary, and then the model turns to mush.
What do you all think of this scanner compared to others? Is it a skill thing, and issue with lighting/object choice, or just this scanner?
