I fired up my Windows system & launched JMStudio the other day, plugged in my Seal Lite, got maybe a dozen frames and then…..*disconnected*
Plug/replug/replug. Nope, nothing.
I looked over at the scanner and the white LED was dark.
Tried another Y-cable, nothing, plugged a USB3-based DepthCam into the same brick the Seal Lite was using and that worked(AKA, shows up with the correct model/vendor ID on my laptop’s USB bus). Plugged my phone into the brick, that shows up too.
So, I have to assume that the scanner toasted itself somehow.
Which is disappointing, but I guess on par for 3DMakerPro. *sigh*
Has anybody else run into this and found the right incantation or rubber-chicken to wave over it and bring theirs back to life ?
Was 3DMP Tech Support any help ?
