Bananas are always used for scale, but have we ever performed high resolution laser scan of a banana to properly define that scale? Well I had a banana for a snack today, and decided it had to be scanned. Threw some laser beams at it and here it is. Scanned using a MetroX in cross line mode. Scanned 2 sides and use the auto merge function. Fairly easy scan, honestly. Absurd, sure, but no one said 3D scanning had to be serious. submitted by /u/MasterTentacles |
