Has anyone had success running the latest Revo Scan 5 software on an AMD-based computer?
I have an AMD CPU and GPU in my PC (Ryzen 7 5800X and Radeon RX 6700 XT) with 32GB of RAM and running Windows 11, and I just bought a RevoPoint Pop3.
I’ve tried several times to install the latest version of Revo Scan 5 from the company website. The installation wizard fires up, asks me to select a language, and after I click “OK”, the dialog window disappears. The installer shows that it is still active down in the taskbar. When I hover over the icon, a tiny little Setup “window” shows up above the cursor, but whether I click on that window or try to select the window from the Alt+Tab window selector, or anything else I try, I can’t get the actual installer window to show back up. And so I can’t continue with the installation beyond this point.
I’ve scoured lots of forums and articles, and I can’t seem to find any hard facts about whether AMD CPU’s are supported, just lots of people opining one way or the other. So I figured I would check here. By the way, Adrenaline says that I’m running OpenGL version 4.3. Thanks for any advice!
