I will try to collect all details on my experience with the Creality Raptor and the CR Scan Bridge, which I have received today.
In the pacakge you will find:
* a nice lightweight bag for the raptor and Scan bridge
* All required cabling
* a magnet-clip to attach your phone to the bridge.
* a USB3 – 5ghz-Wifi 6 dongle to connect a non-wifi (or sub Wifi 6) computer to the bridge.
My current firmware and software versions:
* Raptor – Firmware v1.3.4
* ScanBridge v1.1.0
* Windows 11 – Creality Scan Version 3.3.4 – lasermode scanning with a wired connection is 50 fps.
* Android – Creality Scan Version 2.2.6
* iOS – Creality Scan Version v2.2.7
Wireless-Connections:
The QR code on the Bridge is a wifi-qr code, which is unique on each bridge.
The concept is: Creality_Scan_Pocket_XXXXXX . The XXXXXX is a unique number. This number does not directly correlate with the serial number, but as long as you are scanning for WIFI on the 5ghz network, you will find it eventually.
The bridge only supports 5ghz wifi playing as a hotspot. I haven’t seen any possibilities to connect it to a existing wifi network, which could have been nice to bridge distances or use better wifi-devices.
