Does anyone have a connection solution to use this older serial devices? I was told it could be done with Promet software which is no longer sold and I haven’t found any information on either. It allowed Polyworks to use the manual CMM connection to communicate with the Fato arm.
I’ve used a tripplite rs232 to usb converter on other software to connect the serial Faro as long as the Usb port was made Com1 and that worked well.
