I just bought an Otter, but my ancient Thinkcentre (8500T) is giving me a not so glorious 3fps. So, time for a major upgrade.
Other than “as much RAM as possible”, does anyone have any pointers on speccing out a PC for scanning? Or to any good quality and good value pre-built systems?
I’ll also be doing some CAD/CAM in F360, so very high CPU clock speeds will be important on that front. Number of cores, less so.
