To clarify what I mean when I say “optical measuring machine”, I’m asking about cmm-like 3-axis DCC devices with a camera and a glass stage that are used to inspect dimensional tolerances. Other names for these systems include “multisensor measuring machines”, “vision measuring machines”, “video measuring systems”, “optical coordinate measuring machines”, “vision systems”, “VMMs”, “OMMs”, “VCMMs”, etc.
