New to 3D scanning

So Ive been into 3D printing for a few years now, and was recently given an opportunity to get into 3D scanning from a company. They bought a jig they use for testing welds and it’s ~$7000 to purchase. The owner bought a scanner, but doesn’t have the time or knowledge enough to get it to work for me.

I’ve been tinkering with it but minimal knowledge of the process and such is making for a steep learning curve.

What sites/programs/software are your go-tos for meshing/information.

I’m using a Creality Ferret. And the parts are anywhere from 2″ X1″ in size, and 1/2″ x 12″ in size.

The parts are 3D printed, which is why the company wants to scan and produce it themselves over spending $7000 for roughly $20 of material.
