Need some advice/retrospect

Hey everyone,

I originally picked up the Einstar Vega because I got a great deal on it, and overall, it’s been a fantastic scanner. However, after using it for a while, I’m starting to wonder if a blue laser scanner like the Revopoint MetroX would better suit my needs.

Most of my scanning revolves around figures and doll parts, so fine detail is crucial. I don’t plan on scanning anything large, and since I do all my scanning at my desk, the Vega’s built-in screen isn’t really a factor for me—I use my PC most of the time anyways.

For those who have experience with both or have made a similar switch, do you think the blue laser tech of the MetroX would be a noticeable upgrade for smaller, highly detailed objects? Is it worth selling the Vega to make the switch, or would the difference be marginal?

Would love to hear thoughts from those who’ve used either (or both) scanners!
