I’m planning on getting a 3d printer mainly for the purpose of making/replicating accessories and parts for Transformers figures, and a scanner would be helpful, but I know next to nothing about how these things work. I’ve soft decided on a Bambu A1 mini lab for the printer itself (open to suggestions there), but the scanners I’m finding are mostly really pricey and some of them seem meant for scanning large things, like people. Does that matter, and if so, what should I be searching for?
