Hi Everyone!

I have 5 USB 3.0 external harddisks and 4 SATA internal harddisks. I am looking for a solution to connect all of these storages to a home network so that I can access the data through Wifi (home router) on different laptops . – I am not looking to access this data through internet but only with the devices that are connected to the same wifi.

Kindly let me know what all can be done to achieve this. One solution is to build a pc and connect these storages devices to it and then connect the pc to home wifi. Other solution is to buy NAS storage systems.

Looking for more options.

Are there any usb hubs available in the market(India or US) that can be connected to wifi?

Thanks!

build a PC cheaper than Raspberry Pi, and insert all your drives there. there are a few videos on installing synology’s OS on youtube check them and do the needful. if not then trueNAS.

Further down the road, you can upgrade the hardware by getting PCIE cards with USB C female ports, or a gigabit network card. for even further improvements add an NVMe as caching devices.
