Looking at a 3D scanner for industrial applications

Looking for a 3D photocopier type of application for an industrial maintenance department, we deal with a lot of aging equipment where the OEM is not available for service parts. And 3D Print in PolyCarb or Nylon would likely exceed the performance of the original parts. Seeing some of the OEM plastic parts “drying out” and turning to dust, there was an era of “greener plastics” that just didn’t hold up.

A colleague suggested the Einscan SP scanner, paired with a Prusa or a Bamboo printer. So I’m thinking about a number of things, like these seem to be hobby machines (no offense, I have an Ender at home I play with), but I want a tool to use, not a hobby to tinker with. Wanting to optimize the workflow, physical scan to mesh to model to slicing to physical print (maybe even rescan to validate). Is there anything that streamlines the process? Maybe an AI tool? Seems like there must be someone working on a product like this.

So, if I have a budget of, say $20k, to equip a bench by the end of this year(with Prosumer equipment), what would the state of the art be?
