Kylie Jenner channeled one of Jane Fonda’s iconic movie roles in a series of photos that she shared on social media in anticipation of Halloween.
As the reality TV star demonstrated, she picked out three costumes for this year’s spooky holiday. All three were inspired by Fonda’s title character in the 1968 science fiction comedy Barbarella.

For her first costume, Jenner donned a high-neck metallic silver crop top, which she matched with a torn white bodysuit that exposed her toned midriff. She topped off the look with a wavy-haired wig that made her look like the spitting image of Fonda’s character.
Jenner’s second costume copied Fonda’s white and black fur outfit from the movie, with Jenner committing to the look by arranging a white and black fur tail around her as she posed in a crouch for the camera. “BARBARELLA,” she wrote to caption the first and second costume photos, which she posted on Instagram on Wednesday, Oct. 30.
In the third image, which Jenner captioned “queen of the galaxy,” she again embraced a metallic look with a sheer bodysuit, silver crop top and silver cape. She held a prop that looked like a futuristic weapon in one hand as she posed for the snapshot, her silver and black boots completing the look.

Fans praised the 27-year-old Kylie Cosmetics founder for the effort she put into this year’s Halloween costumes, with one writing, “oh this is 😩🔥 😍,” and several others leaving heart and fire emojis in the posts’ comment sections.
“The queen has started with her iconic costumes!” one Instagram user applauded.
The Kardashians star’s mother, Kris, also left a comment, writing in response to Jenner’s declaration about embodying the Barbarella character, “Of course you are 🔥.”
The enthusiasm Jenner demonstrated about her Halloween costumes is a continuation of a trend that she and several of her family members have embraced in recent years. In 2023, she and her older sister, Kendall, decked out in costumes inspired by Sugar and Spice, the characters played by Drew Barrymore and Debi Mazar in 1995’s Batman Forever. One year earlier, Jenner stunned fans when she dressed up as the Bride of Frankenstein.
