Is the 3DMakerpro Seal Lite That Hard To Get Good Scans Out Of?

I’m looking into a 3D scanner that can get fine details for scanning mainly smaller objects. The Seal Lite seems possible to do the job but I see a lot of negative posts regarding the ease of use with the software and posts mentioning that black and very thin objects are hard to scan (which I plan on scanning mainly). I’m willing to put in the work of doing multiple scans and matching them together, but would just saving up for a CR-Scan Otter the better choice?
