I need to scan a 3'x4'x8' weldment to inspect it against a CAD model and…

…ideally, I would not be using any targets. I would like a report for each weldment detailing what, if any, features are out of spec. I would like the tool to be simple to use and not require an inspection professional. Please point me toward the right tool for my needs. Note that the intent is to inspect weldment geometry, twist, and location of features, not the welds themselves. Thank you!
