How do I connect my SimScan 30 Scanner to scan within PolyWorks?

Is there a plugin needed to scan with the ScanTech SimScan 30 inside Polyworks to capture the 3D scan data? I have tried the normal way of selecting/connecting the ScanTech scanner in the lower left hand side of Polyworks. When I do this, ScanViewer opens up and the scanning takes place in there not Polyworks. I’ve read about a SLS-PW plugin. I’d really like to scan inside Geomagic Design X but have no luck there since the ScanTech scanner is not listed but I think it is listed in Wrap or Control but does not scan in them.
