Flexscan 3D troubleshooting: "unable to capture or detect corners"

Hi, I’ve set up a scanner in Flexscan3D using a single Basler camera for a solo setup. I can see previews and tweak exposure, but when I try to capture for the calibration I don’t see any images appear in the list and I get the “unable to capture or detect corners.” If I take the images separately using the basler capture application and then import them into FlexScan3d, those images show up in the list and the corners show up without issue on the calibration board.

Does anyone have suggestions? I also tried installing Pylon 8.0.2 but that didn’t make any difference.
