Novice 3D printer here with an X1C. I have never used CAD, nor can I draw a straight line with a ruler. I’d like to make more of these blind valance clips since the website I got them from is no longer online and I have been unsuccessful in locating replacements with the same dimensions.
Is this something simple enough I could 3D scan? If so, would something like Polycam with 16 Pro Max suffice or would a handheld scanner be required? Are some scanners/software better aimed at people like me that aren’t CAD experts?
There’s the argument to be made that buying expensive equipment to make a cheap part is silly, but playing with new things is always fun too and maybe open doors to making new prints of my own.
TIA
