Do images (jpgs) created by mobile phone cameras have a embedded ICC Profile? | TechEnclave

I was trying to remove metadata from a image before posting to the net.

Turns out it is not as simple as just using, say EXIFTOOL, to remove all metadata from a image.

Some metadata is actually useful/needed. e.g. orientation & colorspace.

I read it is better to preserve the embedded ICC Profile in images too.

However the images from a Samsung GS10+ do not seem to have a embedded ICC Profile.
At least thats what EXIFTOOL shows.

Is there some setting in the Samsung Camera app to embed ICC Profile?
