The title question.
I was trying to keep track of a few high end x570 motherboards on amazon and sporadically on pcpricetracker. I didn’t really see the price drop and suddenly they are out of stock on a number of them.
What happens to them? Is it possible to get one for a massive discount on MSRP.
Like I would love to have an x570 aqua. It’s pointless and I would never buy it at full price. But if I was getting one for 80% off. Yea, I’d take it.
Most customer returns are also discounted, usually the price goes up after you buy one.
For X570, it looks like we missed the window — they were heavily discounted in the previous years.
The discounts are in the form of coupons, so they may not show up on price trackers. I bought a few motherboards this way, some B550s a couple years ago and a X299 before that.
