I’m trying to model a aftermarket car part. I’d like to measure and model as close as I can the mating part. The part is an injection molded part that has a lot of draft angles and profiles on it. Forgive my lack of knowledge on CMM’s but is there a way to just probe the crap out of it and be left with a mesh or map of the parts geometry?
