Hello everyone, I’m working on starting my 3D scanning service business after months of practicing, creating a portfolio, etc. and I feel confident enough that I can now deliver excellent results.
Im at the point of deciding my rates, and I noticed that not many people/companies display their prices for such services.
Anyone here know or have a general formula/spreadsheet to calculate how much they charge? I know its gonna be different for everybody due to equipment used, types of objects they scan or what type of files they deliver. I just dont want to either undervalue nor overprice my work.
As Im getting started, Im using a Miraco Pro and plan to offer car part scans, body part scans, sculptures, mechanical parts, toys, etc. Which are the ones Ive successfuly mastered so far. I also plan to offer 3D modeling for reverse engineering as well as 3D printing, but those are their own fees aside from scanning.
Any help/comments/constructive critiscm would be greatly appreciated!
