My 2012 MacBook Pro is starting to really show it’s age, so I’ve been saving up to get another one, but then a used iMac caught my eye locally and it made me dig into those. I almost never use my MacBook like a laptop, it sits connected to two monitors on my desk and maybe moves once a year.
What it doesn’t do well is process giant art files or always run my DAW smoothly, so that’s where the iMac GAS comes in.
And, since I can’t buy a new one, as they run $5k+
