I currently work as an automation tester for a service-based company. I want to transition into cybersecurity, preferably into roles like pen testing or security testing although i’m open to other roles too. What advice do you have that can help me with my journey.
I currently work as an automation tester for a service-based company. I want to transition into cybersecurity, preferably into roles like pen testing or security testing although i’m open to other roles too. What advice do you have that can help me with my journey.
Currently, I’m doing the premium roadmap on TryHackMe. Just finished pre-security and started doing Cybersec 101. I have also set up 2 VMs for practicing. One is running Kali linux and the other is running metasploitable 2.
My goal is to study and get the CEH certification before applying for jobs.
Any advice?
