I want to be able to scan singular files with some AV software on my PC, so just like virustotal.com, but local.
Installing multiple AV softwares on a single Windows PC is not the best idea so I thought that maybe someone already has a solution for this, for example to just use docker container.
I have searched for something like that and found Malice Antivirus that just did exactly that.
Problem is that this piece of software is archived and wont receive updates anymore. So I just thought about using the AV Docker containers itself and write a small program that just runs all the docker commands. Again, problem is that those containers are up to 6 years old and most of them don’t even work anymore.
So do you know any alternative that I can use to get multiple AV softwares running on the same machine to “quickscan” a single file like virustotal?
