Does anyone have any experience with a usb extension cable that works with the Einstar? I’m working from a desktop workstation and could use some extra reach.
Another thought I had is it would be nice to build a cable terminated with male and female connectors of the same type used on the business end of the scanner so that you don’t have to drag around the power supply, but am not sure if there’s a maximum length that the active portion of the cable can be without data degredation.
