One of my key drivers for leveraging 3D scanning is replicating various parts that are no longer in production or very difficult to obtain. If I scan a part, I think to myself, “you know, others could really benefit from this scan also”, but what concerns me is if I were to throw the part of on Thingaverse, I could open myself up to legal issues. Does anyone have any knowledge/experience in this realm that would want to share?
