Everything was working fine… until about 8 months ago. Then Microsoft decided to update OneDrive, and —2FA broke. I tried entering the code, but it kept redirecting me to biometric login, which then sent me back to the 2FA code. It felt like a cat-and-mouse chase.
I use 1Password to store my credentials (which works great, even before 2fa broke).
I reinstalled OneDrive and created a brand-new 2FA setup through Microsoft security. Still can’t get 2FA working for personal vault, it only provides biometric authentication.
Earlier all authentication methods were working.
Send code via email and mobile number too.
Anyone here using OneDrive with 2FA for their personal vault, I really don’t want to use the Microsoft Authenticator app.
