GMB selects Unanet ERP and CRM

GMB switched to Unanet for flexible insights and analytics without manual data entry or workarounds.

Unanet announced that GMB has transitioned from its legacy software to Unanet AE ERP and CRM to improve business insights and simplify its new business process.

Founded as an architectural and engineering firm in 1968 specializing in K-12 and higher education institutions, GMB’s services have grown to include a wide range of professional services that help educators solve problems including marketing communications, branding and building performance. As its service areas expanded, GMB made an acquisition and currently has a large team of employees located across the country with physical locations in Michigan, Indiana and South Carolina. The company’s rapid growth highlighted the need for a more flexible, easier-to-use ERP solution.

After reviewing an updated version of their existing ERP and CRM software, GMB found the same limitations and that it still couldn’t solve their problems. GMB switched to Unanet for its ability to not only easily integrate with the company’s existing software programs but also for its flexible and customizable approach to efficiently provide critical insights and analytics without manually inputting data or requiring workarounds.

While strong data management is critical to forecasting and firm decision-making, half of the firms surveyed (49%) in the 2024 AEC Inspire Report indicated their data management tools are insufficient and 30% say they are still using spreadsheets for business intelligence.

GMB’s marketing team is also excited to use Unanet’s CRM solution to modernize the company’s business development process and easily share information across multiple offices.

More than 1,850 architecture, engineering, and construction companies select Unanet ERP and CRM because they have the right mix of functionality and accessibility while also offering the ability to scale and grow seamlessly.
