Does anyone know how to ship a processor? | TechEnclave

Anti static bags is your answer, normally called as ESD bags, some electronics DIY Indian sites have these in stock.

This is recommended for electronics. When you buy hard-disks, graphics cards, motherboard, they are wrapped in these kinds of bags for a reason. If you want even more safety then throw a bag of desiccant in the pouch to remove any trace of moisture buildup.

The regular thermocol is not static safe nor is the normal bubble wrap, the right kind is a form like material of black color that you get when you buy processor, I don’t know what it is called. Normally people don’t care they use whatever they find, and get away with it most of time, because the devices now have some degree of inbuilt ESD protection.
