A user on reddit recently posted on reddit showing that the camera bump on their Google Pixel 9 Pro peeling off. He mentions that the smartphone had been in a case since the device was being used, but the camera lenses started developing fog after he left it in the sink and went to take a shower. He also said that when he took the case off and took a look and one side of the camera bar was not attached at all, just lifted right up with a gentle pull.
Similar issues have also been noticed by other owners and indicates some serious design flaws that the buyers should be aware of.
The user did get a replacement but ended up loosing his store credit and extra $200. Although in a similar incident it seems like the person did not get any support from Google apparently due to the device being more than 90 days old, which contradicts Google’s 1 year warranty.
