Can someone help me understand the nook and corner related to the trade of brand new computer components in the market? From where do dealers get their purchase licenses or if they source on their own. The pricing difference is actually what got me thinking. For example, Amazon sellers tend to give much lower rate than others during their sale season. How do they make up for it?
I’m not planning to do it. I’m just curious.
And dealers are hesitant to share lol.
If you set up a business sometime in the future, I’ll definitely buy from you *wink wink*

The more volume/selling you can do, the better incentives/discount slabs you get on normal pricing.
If you are a new business you simply cannot do the volumes other established businesses are doing and that is the end of your computer business unless you are able to magically find buyers who are willing to buy at +10-15% of market price from you instead of other established businesses/sellers.
This and many trade businesses are competitve af and you simply cannot compete with the likes of vedant/md computers etc if you are a new player.
They buy in bulk/wholesale from Rptech, acro and other similar suppliers in India. Dealership licenses are obtained from the brand but through channels. Thus you find many shops flaunting those dealership certificates at the counter. And once you excel in sales your shop/company logo etc. gets a place on either the channel or on brands website for that specific region.
