New positioning systems address evolving engineering needs, enhancing precision, reliability, and efficiency in automated and mechanical systems.
norelem is launching five new families of positioning systems. The new range includes rotary tables, lifting tables, counter bearings, adapter plates, and joint heads, comprehensively covering electrical and mechanical applications.
Marcus Schneck, CEO of norelem, said: “Our new suite of positioning systems is designed to deliver greater precision, reliability, and versatility to engineers across a wide range of industries and applications.”
The electrical positioning systems feature rotary tables offering accuracy down to 0.01 mm. They are ideal for tasks such as high-precision positioning of components, sensors, grippers, and stops. This makes them valuable components in handling systems, machine tools, and measuring equipment.
The lineup includes the High-Load Coaxial Rotary Table (21085-02), which is driven by worm gears and can support forces of up to 12,000 N. These rotary tables feature cross-roller bearings capable of withstanding high forces and are available in three gear ratios: 20:1, 40:1, and 48:1. They can be configured with or without motors and controls, offering greater customization for specific applications.
This family is joined by the Belt-Driven Rotary Table (21085-10) series, which achieves rapid, dynamic rotation through its belt drive system. Its compact design and versatile mounting options make it an excellent choice for seamless integration into machinery, with a load capacity of up to 5,000 N and a gear ratio of 2:1.
For mechanical positioning systems, norelem has introduced the Counter Bearings (21161-20) product suite. Designed to compensate for axial and angular misalignments, these components complement the rotary tables by providing additional support for long assemblies that require rotational positioning. Their robust construction includes plastic seals that protect against contamination, ensuring durability even in demanding environments. The bearings also feature sliding surfaces coated with polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) for maintenance-free operation.
To provide additional flexibility, norelem is introducing its range of Adapter Plates (21161-30), which allow different positioning system sizes to connect seamlessly. These products enhance compatibility, enabling users to combine components such as compact and large positioning tables or rotary tables with varied drive mechanisms.
Furthermore, norelem is launching Lifting Tables with Mechanical Position Indicators (21141) to provide a solution for height adjustments of components like sensors, switches, and cameras. These tables feature a position indicator that displays adjustments in 0.1 mm increments, while their modular design ensures easy integration with other positioning components.
Lastly, norelem has also expanded its joint head family (21170) by introducing a new variant with a quick-clamping system. This eliminates the need for tools and further simplifies the setup process, enabling swift adjustments using a grip screw and clamping lever.
For over 65 years, norelem has been a trusted partner in the mechanical engineering sector, offering more than 100,000 high-quality standard components.
