Infotech Appoints Shelly Nooner as Chief Product Officer

CPO to enhance product strategy, innovation, and AI-driven growth.

GAINESVILLE, FL, Jan 15, 2025 – Infotech announced the appointment of Shelly Nooner as the company’s chief product officer. Previously at Trimble, Nooner joins the company with over two decades of experience in product development, engineering innovation, and mergers and acquisitions for the public sector.

“We are excited to welcome such a first-class and seasoned chief product officer to Infotech’s leadership team,” Will McClave, Infotech CEO, said. “During her 25 years at Trimble, Shelly has earned a stellar reputation for strategic product and platform-as-a-service vision while building a well-established network across civil infrastructure and government sectors. As we execute our vision to support the industry’s digital demands, Shelly will be critical to strengthening and scaling product innovation to better serve both state and local agencies, as well as the thousands of contractors who are building our nation’s infrastructure.”

In her previous role, Nooner led a large-scale civil software division and managed critical technology initiatives, including AI data strategies and software modernization.

“I’m passionate about this industry and am ready to lead major initiatives with Infotech’s incredible talent as we break down the silos of data that are not being connected for the outcomes we know our customers need,” Shelly Nooner, chief product officer, said. “Every bit of technology out there in the public sector is collecting information that is very siloed – it’s disconnected, not real time, not visible or not used – and there’s a real market need for technology to bring these pieces together into an ecosystem to deliver outcomes for our customers and our communities.”

Nooner will be based out of Colorado and report directly to the company’s CEO, overseeing product development and management, strategic M&A integrations, AI innovation, and data-driven strategies for Infotech’s solutions. In addition, she will support Infotech’s role as the official contractor for AASHTOWare Project software development.

“Innovation happens when you create an environment where you solve the problems that customers don’t even know they have yet, and you solve them in a way that you consider the opportunity cost to an organization,” Nooner said. “And the insights and connections I have from working in this industry for over two decades are going to help us propel forward faster while building top-notch tech along the way.”
