Recently got news regarding the family dog and I’m now thinking of ways to preserve his memory via a scan/printing.
He’s roughly 45 pounds, about 3 feet long, two feet high. Very dark fur color (Beagle/Shepard mix will do that).
3d printer I own is an A1 Mini from Bambu, so I’m aware that it’s not the largest build plate wise.
Budget, let’s say the Creality Otter is the maximum (750ish on sale at Micro Center).
I’ve been looking between the Ferret and the Otter, aware of the Ferret being a questionable item. Would like more information or guidance on this. Any scanner that doesn’t involve too much hassle converting the scan into an .stl/.3mf file would be appreciated.
