Sorry very new to scanning but I had a quick questions. I’m test scanning some 28mm metal miniatures. I primed them a dark grey and while waiting for my scanning spray to come in I decided to try the Gold Bond foot spray technique. Which worked but I need to play around with the settings. Anyways I grabbed an old toothbrush and scrubbed the foot powder off under hot water. And it washed everything off down to the metal. Was this from the aerosol from the foot spray? Has anyone else had this happen? Also is priming necessary before scanning?
