Metashape VS revopoints

When they first came out I was very disappointed.

Now I am satisfied with the software update.

But metashape, except that it takes a lot of pictures and the process is long, it produces satisfactory results than the above products, surprisingly. But there are some shortcomings for .

It would be the best option to keep all these devices, but unfortunately I am a poor freshman in society. So I am thinking of selling both scanners.

Is it possible to do riverse engineering work with metashape from screws to pieces? The torrance is about 1~2mm. I mainly scan from screws and decorative elements to scruture 2m for restoration of pieces of furniture and frames.
