Hi everyone, thanks for adding me to the group! I recently bought my first 3D scanner, the Vega. So far, I really like it, but I’m having an issue where the scanner doesn’t prompt for file transfer when I plug it into my PC. I’ve tried 4-5 different USB cables, all of which charge the device, but none allow for file transfer. The cables are data-compatible, so I’m not sure why the Vega isn’t recognizing them. I even attempted a factory reset, but no luck. I followed Shining3D’s recommendations on firewall settings, and everything seems fine there. The only difference I noticed is that instead of seeing the usual Visionstar files, mine appear as Visionstar binary. I know that with Android phones, you can usually choose what to do when plugging in a USB cable. Is there a way to access background processes on the Vega to troubleshoot this?
